The bastion of SBCA-SOL is the one and only “Papa Dean Ulan”. As an administrator, it is under his tutelage that SBCA-SOL is known as the happiest law school in the universe, for he fosters a sincere, engaging, and productive campus which students and lecturers have come to know and love.

He is a well-respected author, penning books on Obligations and Contracts, private education for administrators in the Philippines, and many more. As an academic, he took up his Masters of Laws from San Beda University and his Doctor of Laws from Northwestern University (Honoris Causa) and San Beda University.

Recognized for his pleasant and calm deportment both in and out of the classroom, Vice Dean Busmente is a practicing litigator and a professor in SBCA-SOL who teaches review subjects, Sales and Lease, and Intellectual Property.
